Hypnosis can help yo to release unhelpful, limiting beliefs and old habits that no longer serve you. By connecting deeply with the sub-conscious mind you can more readily let go of old hurts and fears that keep you stuck in unhealthy relationship or life patterns. Hypnosis trains you to relax deeply which aids healing and can improve sleep patterns, bringing you health and energy.

In Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy we explore the thinking patterns and beliefs that keep you trapped in unhelpful or unhealthy behaviours which in turn cause difficulties in your life.

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)


NLP has come up with many short, powerful interventions and techniques that can bring about huge changes in a person’s behaviour and thinking. This in turn leads to better outcomes for the person and consequently a more fulfilling life.

It is developed from the study of excellence. Exactly what is it that those who have it do? What was the secret to our own times of success? If we can discover how to develop and maintain or reproduce that excellence for ourselves in the future, then we are much more likely to succeed where we need to.


Coaching


Coaching is a conversation or series of conversations that are designed to enhance and develop your learning and progress. The conversations are aimed at clearly defining your present needs and future desires and helping you achieve these as quickly and efficiently as possible.

You will be asked to look deeply into your present circumstances to discover what helps and what hinders you. You will be encouraged to look back on past successes and 'failures' but only with a view to learning what you might want to utilise now and in the future. You will not be asked to unnecessarily trawl through past psychological hurts or traumas. Coaching is about looking at where you are now and where you want to get to.


Time Line Therapy


Time Line Therapy is a visualisation technique which powerfully helps you access deep, possibly forgotten or unrecognised hurts and fears in order to be able to release them. We use the metaphor of a time line to help you orientate yourself with the autobiography of your life.

(THIS IS NOT RECOVERED MEMORY! We are not searching for or creating FALSE MEMORIES.)

In fact the 'content' or details of the memory do not matter; you may even not remember anything clearly but you will know how it feels and you will sense what feels right. What matters are the emotions present, the understanding or misunderstandings and taking lessons from those. You can learn to access new ways of feeling and behaving in circumstances that would previously have triggered a whole cascade of negative consequences.

Other tecniques I may draw on


CBT or CBH : great for changing thought patterns and unhelpful behaviour.
EMDR and EMIT : Highly reccomended for releasing past traumas letting go of hurts or lost relationships.
Voice or Body dialogue : A fascinating way to get amazing insight into why we behave as we do and how we can heal old emotional scars.
Mindfulness, guided visualisation, meditation: slowing the mind and body down to rest, recouperate, heal and ultimately gain more energy and vitality.
